What is Fire Door Compliance?
Fire door compliance keeps life-safety systems from degrading unnoticed. NFPA 80 and NFPA 101 require annual inspection of all rated openings—when deficiencies go uncorrected, facilities face audit citations, insurance exposure, and failed inspections. Our program finds the gaps, corrects what is approved, and documents everything.
Inspect
- Opening-by-opening review against NFPA 80/101 criteria
- Deficiency coding by severity and correction path
- Photo-backed findings where required by program scope
Repair & Report
- Approved corrections completed by trained technicians
- Operational verification after each adjustment
- Digital and physical documentation packages on delivery
Who This Is For
- Healthcare, education, and commercial facility teams
- Owner reps and contractors closing compliance gaps before audits
- Stakeholders who need transparent inspect-vs-repair pricing
Starter net rates support budgeting. Final proposal follows facility walkdown and opening inventory review.
Why Fire Door Programs?
Unstructured compliance leaves facilities exposed at inspection time. A structured program gives leadership clear visibility into opening status, gives corrective teams an actionable path from finding to closure, and creates an audit-ready record before the inspector arrives.
Inspect-Only
- Best when you need a baseline inventory before committing to corrections
- Delivers a complete opening-by-opening deficiency register
- Priority coding supports phased corrective planning and budgeting
Inspect + Fix-As-You-Go
- Best when you need to close compliance gaps quickly
- Approved corrections executed during the same inspection window
- Reduces cycle time from finding to completed, documented action
Inspection Deliverables
- Opening-specific findings matrix with deficiency codes
- Priority-ranked remediation list by building or zone
- Summary roll-up formatted for leadership review
Program Controls
- Consistent review criteria applied across all inspectors
- Standardized terminology for clean repair handoff
- Structured packages formatted for third-party audit readiness
Program descriptions are representative. Final program scope is defined in the executed proposal.
Services We Provide
Our compliance framework is built for defensible documentation and actionable findings across large opening inventories—from single-building assessments to multi-facility programs.
Correction Categories (Program B)
- Operational adjustments—latching, closer tuning, alignment, and swing verification
- Component replacement labor with client-approved materials on site at time of work
- Fastener corrections and seal or gap labor where scope is pre-approved
Any required NGP gap materials are submitted to the client for written approval before purchase and installation. Material costs are invoiced separately from labor.
Correction categories listed are representative. Specific repair scope is governed by the approved opening schedule and written client authorization.
